Sustainability Assessment of Buildings Indicators

The building sector is responsible for a high environmental impact, namely during construction, maintenance, demolition, and lifetime. It then urgent to develop tools guiding all stockholders make buildings more sustainable. In order the sustainability assessment of building, it necessary survey most appropriate parameters this analysis organize them hierarchically. first certification rating were developed in 90′s last century, Leadership Energy Environmental Design (LEED) Building Research Establishment Assessment Methodology (BREEAM), which allow quantitative different types buildings. After developments, many authors joined endeavor producing easier-to-use accurate systems using indicators their respective weights. This work provides rational pathway throughout relevant literature on indicators, comparing proposed by systems.
